How billing actually works. Payments are one-time: no card on file, no auto-charge. We remind you 3 days before your plan ends. If you don't renew, you drop to Free and keep everything already generated. Renewing early replaces your period with a fresh full cycle, it never stacks. Advanced Insight credits are only spent when the analysis succeeds, never on a failed run. Your channel pattern summary is free the first time on every plan; refreshing it later costs 3 standard insights, and individual Shorts are only analyzed when you choose to.

Before you connect

Is ShortLens really read-only?
Yes. It asks for two Google permissions, both view-only: one to list your Shorts and their public stats, one to read your analytics. ShortLens can never post, edit, or delete anything on your channel.
Do you store my card?
No. Paid plans are one-time payments. There is no card on file and no auto-charge, so a plan can never renew or bill you without you choosing to.
What happens when my plan ends?
We remind you 3 days before. If you don't renew, you drop to the Free plan and everything already generated stays visible. You just return to Free limits until you choose to renew.
What's the difference between a standard insight and an Advanced Insight?
A standard insight reads your numbers. An Advanced Insight watches the video itself and ties each retention drop to what was on screen. Advanced Insight credits are only spent on a successful run.
Can I use it on more than one channel?
Yes. Creator connects up to 2 channels and Creator+ up to 5, both with limits pooled across your channels. Free is single-channel.
What counts as a Short?
ShortLens confirms the Shorts format against YouTube directly rather than guessing from duration, so a 16:9 clip under 3 minutes won't be miscounted as a Short.
Can I cancel?
There's nothing to cancel: with no auto-charge, a plan simply lapses to Free if you don't renew. See our refunds and cancellation policy for the details.
