1. The service
ShortLens ("the Service") analyzes the performance of YouTube Shorts on channels you connect, using YouTube data you authorize us to read and AI models that interpret that data. The Service is provided on an as-is basis during the pilot phase and may change or be discontinued.
2. Your account
Sign-in is via Google. You are responsible for the Google account you connect. You may delete your ShortLens account and its data at any time from Settings.
3. YouTube data and API services
ShortLens uses the YouTube API Services. By using the Service you agree to be bound by the
YouTube Terms of Service
and the Google Privacy Policy.
We request read-only access (youtube.readonly, yt-analytics.readonly) and never post,
edit, or delete anything on your channel. You can revoke ShortLens's access at any time at
myaccount.google.com/permissions.
4. AI-generated content
Insights, diagnoses, and recommendations are generated by AI models interpreting your channel's metrics and, for Advanced Insights, your published videos. They are informational suggestions, not guarantees of performance. You remain solely responsible for decisions about your content.
5. Plans, payments, and limits
Feature access and AI-analysis allotments are governed by your plan. During the pilot, payments are one-time, with no card stored and no auto-charge. Paid access forfeits on account deletion. Fair-use caps apply as described at the point of purchase; previously generated insights always remain accessible. See the refunds and cancellation policy for how renewals and refunds work.
Availability: paid plans are processed through PayPal, which cannot currently settle payments from India-based buyers. If you're purchasing from India, paid plans are not yet available to you; local payment support is planned. The Free plan remains fully available.
6. Acceptable use
- Only connect channels you own or are authorized to manage.
- Do not attempt to circumvent usage limits, probe, or disrupt the Service.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties, and our aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid in the twelve months preceding a claim.
8. Governing law and operator
ShortLens is operated by Devendra Singh Baghel, an individual based in Gurugram, Haryana, India. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute arising from them or the Service is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Gurugram, Haryana.
