Availability note
Paid plans are processed through PayPal, which cannot currently settle payments from India-based buyers. If you're purchasing from India, paid plans (and so this refund policy) aren't applicable to you yet; the Free plan remains fully available and local payment support is planned.
There is nothing to cancel
ShortLens paid plans are one-time payments. There is no card on file and no auto-charge, so a plan can never renew or bill you on its own. To "cancel," you simply don't renew: at the end of your paid period your account returns to the Free plan automatically. Everything you already generated stays visible.
What happens at the end of a paid period
- We remind you 3 days before your plan ends.
- If you don't renew, your account drops to Free and keeps all previously generated insights.
- Renewing early replaces your current period with a fresh full cycle. Periods never stack.
Refunds
Because plans are one-time payments, the situations where a refund applies are narrow, and during the pilot we handle them generously and in good faith:
- Charged in error, or a duplicate payment: full refund, no questions.
- Changed your mind within 7 days and you have used only a small portion of your plan's Advanced Insight credits: we will refund on request.
- Advanced Insight credits are only ever charged when an analysis succeeds, so you are never billed a credit for a failed or empty run.
Refunds are issued to the original payment account. Once processed on our side, your payment provider's own timelines apply.
How to request one
Email support@shortlens.shop or use the support form inside the app, with your channel name and the transaction id from your receipt. See the support page for more ways to reach us.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account and all its data at any time from Settings. Deleting an account while on a paid plan forfeits any remaining paid access; it does not trigger an automatic refund, so request one first if it applies.
